And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 17 losses; Adriel Orozco! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Orozco misses with a takedown attempt - Askren sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Orozco fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Orozco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Askren manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Askren shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Orozco is trying to defend but Askren finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Howell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lange with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Howell connects with a nice short shot to Lange's temple. Howell looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Lange wants to get back to his feet.

Howell manages to hold on to the position though. Lange takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Howell works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Howell scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Lange is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Howell can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

#R1# Teteny tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Teteny somewhat. Teteny with a poor takedown and Raak counters with a nice body shot. Raak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Teteny. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daaniel Teteny. That's going to take a lot out of him. Teteny is breathing heavily. Teteny closes this distance looking for a takedown but Raak circles away. Teteny takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Raak turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Teteny with a lazy takedown attempt and Raak finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raak catches Teteny with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#CUT2#It looks like Daaniel Teteny has been cut. Raak throws a body shot but no joy. Raak keeps Teteny at a distance using the push kick. Raak works Teteny's body with a nice hook.#T1# Raak cracks Teteny with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Teteny takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Teteny takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Teteny walks straight into a right hand from Raak - that's dropped him! Raak jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Teteny from any more punishment! Teteny complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.#CL2# Nozadzi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #TD2# Askren is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nozadzi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Askren to the mat. Askren regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Askren (0) vs (2) Nozadzi We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bogo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SU# Connor stands up from guard. Let's bang! Connor throws a looping overhand right but Bogo ducks down to avoid it. Bogo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Connor swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Connor throws out a loose jab but Bogo uses good head movement to avoid it. And Bogo tries to counter it with a takedown but Connor pushes his down on his head and steps out. Good standup being displayed there by Connor as he connects with a hook. Bogo misses with a head kick.
Greg Connor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Connor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Connor jabs Bogo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Connor scores with a nice head shot.#ROC#Bogo is rocked! Connor lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Bogo crumples to the floor! Connor milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Pad Thai Kai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Szobo lands a head kick. Pad Thai Kai smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pad Thai Kai looking to land some kicks to the body here.

#KD# Szobo drops Pad Thai Kai with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pad Thai Kai looks back up at him and smiles so Szobo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC#Pad Thai Kai is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#CL# Szobo closes the distance and clinches. Pad Thai Kai is still on wobbly legs! Can Szobo finish him?#BC# Szobo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pad Thai Kai seems to have recovered his senses. Szobo lands with a nice body kick. Szobo throws a combination. Pad Thai Kai tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Szobo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Szobo throws a head kick but Pad Thai Kai moves out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Szobo! Pad Thai Kai is out on his feet! Szobo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pad Thai Kai is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pad Thai Kai is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
