Ecik closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bo did well to prevent Ecik getting side control.
Bo wants to stand back up but Ecik manages to pass into side control.

Ecik has hold of Bo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ecik cranks the arm and Bo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Tankian gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tankian throws a punch but it's blocked by Ecik.
With the fighters up against the cage, Tankian throws an elbow but misses.
Tankian prevents the takedown attempt.
A short uppercut from Tankian.
Tankian lands with a left to the head.
Tankian throws a head punch that misses.
Tankian working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Tankian.
Ecik is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tankian is defending well.
Tankian lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ecik backwards. #TD#
Ecik has picked Tankian up - he's going for a ride! Ecik dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tankian is looking to escape.
Tankian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB#
Ecik is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tankian is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ecik frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ecik is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rigsby can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ecik swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rigsby is now in Ecik's guard. A big mistake from Ecik there, giving up the dominant position! #SUB2#
Ecik is looking for a triangle but Rigsby pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rigsby slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rigsby gets to his feet. Ecik looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wojciech Ecik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ecik throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rigsby's waist but Rigsby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ecik off to one side.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rigsby throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ecik tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rigsby is in Ecik's guard.

Ecik has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rigsby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ecik has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rigsby is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ecik.
Steve Rigsby overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This one could be over very soon! Rigsby goes limp - he's gone! Ecik jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Neil got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ecik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neil has managed to get both his arms back between Ecik's legs - danger averted.#SUB2#
Ecik pushes a forearm under Neil's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Neil is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
