#R1# Miyagi stuffs the takedown attempt from Osmonov. Osmonov gets slowly back to his feet. #TD2# Miyagi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Osmonov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Miyagi trying to control the position but Osmonov is working away. #SU2# Miyagi decides to take the fight back to the feet. Osmonov shoots for a double leg takedown but Miyagi sprawls well. He's pushed Osmonov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice takedown defense from Miyagi. No joy for Osmonov on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhyrgal Osmonov. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Miyagi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Miyagi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Osmonov gets back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miyagi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #T1# Osmonov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Osmonov wants to improve his position but Miyagi is controlling well.

Lawrence throws the left hand but Da Silva avoids the punch easily. A head kick from Lawrence lands but Da Silva takes it in his stride. #ROC2#Da Silva is rocked! Lawrence throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Oh Da Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lawrence lands a leg kick that knocks Da Silva off balance momentarily. Da Silva seems to have got his legs back now. Da Silva misses with a takedown and Lawrence counters with a nice body kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lawrence checks a leg kick. Lawrence steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Da Silva. A solid body kick from Lawrence. This has been an exciting period of action! Lawrence throws a front kick that sends Da Silva stumbling back into the cage. Lawrence dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Da Silva. That did some damage! Da Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lawrence lands with a kick to the temple. Da Silva shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Da Silva loads up on a big right hand but Lawrence slips the punch.#T1# Lawrence throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Da Silva. Lawrence ducks under a wild hook from Da Silva. Da Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lawrence can pounce on him.

Johnny Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Da Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lawrence moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lawrence scores with a head kick. Brawler can't find room to land a body shot as Solomon controls the action.
Brawler scores with an uppercut up the middle. Solomon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short body shot lands from Brawler as the two fighters clinch.
