Bolek jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bolek lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bolek misses with a looping left. Avery takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Destro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alzate swats him away and circles back towards the center. Alzate with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
#CL2# Destro gets tackled into the cage by Alzate. Alzate maintains the clinch. Alzate working some nice short punches in the clinch. Alzate lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Destro backwards. Alzate scores with a nice hook to the head. Alzate lands with a short head shot on the inside. No luck with that takedown attempt from Paulman. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russell Paulman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paulman tries to clinch but Kin is having none of it. #CL2# Kin moves into the clinch. Kin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Felix looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mercer can't hide his disappointment, as Felix celebrates the victory.

#R1# Briscoe looks to land a left hand but Corona moved out of range nicely. Briscoe darts in looking for a takedown but Corona gets double underhooks and turns Briscoe into the cage. #TD# Briscoe tries to sprawl but Corona drives through with a takedown into half guard. Corona has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Briscoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Briscoe punching from the bottom.
Briscoe is refusing to be controlled, as Corona sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corona thows a huge punch but Briscoe dodges it nicely.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Corona uses his free foot to push down on Briscoe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Briscoe. Corona can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Briscoe is looking to escape. Corona throwing strikes here but Briscoe is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Nice move by Stable!#REVR# Stable is looking to stand up but Mercer won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
