#CUT# It looks like Humberto Lima has been cut. Lima shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lovelair as he avoids it easily. Lovelair lands a two punch combo.
Lima tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lovelair lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.#ROC# Lima is rocked! Lovelair slips a jab and a cross from Lima.

#R1# Toten throws a nice looking combination but Knife bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Knife went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Toten slips a jab and a cross from Knife.
Knife lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toten circles away quickly and effectively. A little jabbing left from Toten on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Knife fails to land with a series of punches.
Toten is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Knife on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Toten throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sloppy strikes from Knife. Those never looked like landing. Knife throws a right hand that Toten ducks under and follows up with a left that Toten also avoids with ease. Knife jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toten walks away with a smile on his face. #R1##CL2# Preuss rushes Lima and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lima tries to pull guard but Preuss forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Preuss. Preuss lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lima backwards. Preuss displaying some good clinch control by pressing Lima up against the cage. Preuss scores with a nice hook to the head. Preuss gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lima.
Preuss scores with an uppercut up the middle. Preuss lands a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Preuss lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #CUT2# It looks like Humberto Lima has been cut. Preuss landing knees to the body.

Monson feinted with a counter takedown. Monson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A solid leg kick lands there for Monson.
Grant fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Monson throws a sloppy head kick and Grant moves out of range easily. No joy there for Grant, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Monson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at . . . in the buildup to the fight.#TD# Monson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.#ES2# Grant has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Monson is on him like a limpet, forcing Grant back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action!#TD# Monson pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monson is adopting a defensive guard. Grant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1##SUB# Monson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Grant is defending well. Monson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grant has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Lima fails with the takedown letting Wick counter with a right hand. Wick lands with a straight right. Lima didn't see that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A good leg kick by Wick. A shot to the liver by Wick. Beautiful body shot. Knife is trying to defend but Cena finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Cena lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Cena perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Cena lands with a punch from half guard. Knife striking from half guard on the bottom. Knife has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cena is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cena wants to pass to mount but Knife is defending the position. Cena working over Knife with some ground and pound. Knife looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.#T1# Knife wants to improve his position but Cena is controlling well.

Sloppy strikes from Ciuchten. Those never looked like landing. Otumba is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Ciuchten looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kingen Ciuchten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ciuchten lands a front kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ciuchten. Otumba shrugs it off though. Otumba looks winded! Ciuchten tries a head kick but it misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Petrovic uses his free foot to push down on Montano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Montano. Petrovic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Montano defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Petrovic. Petrovic looking to finish Montano with some ground and pound. This is bad for Montano!
