#R1##TD# Mpembe gets a double leg takedown into West's guard. West keeping moving, preventing Mpembe from controlling successfully. Mpembe throws an elbow that misses. West uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mpembe's guard. Nice move by West!#REVB# Mpembe is trying to keep West in close.
#SUB# Mpembe has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. West is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mpembe. Mpembe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mpembe tries to get out of the position. Mpembe is trying to control West's posture but West avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Mpembe is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because West is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. #R1# Lane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lane jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lane lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming. Lane throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lane jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lane lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range. Lane throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Lane misses with an uppercut
and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body. Lane scores with a shot to the body.
Lane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lane drops Jones with a naaaaasty hook - Jones is in real trouble here! Lane dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
