We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Warren throws a big elbow that misses. Archibald working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Warren. Warren stops Archibald from standing up. Archibald can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Warren controls the pace. Warren trying to control but Archibald is working from the bottom. Warren missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Warren with a flurry of punches that miss. #R1##TD# Nichols closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bamba's guard. Nichols is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#ES2# Bamba pushes Nichols off and gets back to his feet.
Nichols shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bamba but Bamba pushes him off and we're back to square one. A shot to the liver by Bamba. Beautiful body shot. Bamba stuffs the takedown. Bamba cracks Nichols with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice uppercut lands for Bamba. That snapped Nichols's head back.
#CUT2# It looks like Jimmie Nichols has been cut. Rocky Bamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bamba cracks Nichols with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nichols tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bamba pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nichols is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

#CUT2# It looks like Dexter Snyder has been cut. Good exchange - Fog coming out on top.#CL# Snyder closes the distance and clinches. Fog scores with a knee to the head.
A bit of stalling here from Snyder.
Fog with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fog keeps control of Snyder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Snyder tries to break the clinch but Fog is controlling the position. Snyder stalling in the clinch but Fog improves position. Fog has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Snyder - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Fog, and another! Snyder is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

#R1# Gmo's corner calls for a 1-2. Gmo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. #CUT2# It looks like Jerrod Best has been cut. Gmo connects with a nice looking jab.
Gmo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Best's head backwards. Best has a takedown stuffed. Best throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# and Gmo counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gmo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Best is proving hard to escape from. Best is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Best is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gmo wants to stand but Best is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1##SUB# Best isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gmo stacks Best on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage.
