Tom does a little dance to reset his feet.#TD# Tom fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Latchman sprawls well initially but Tom persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tom is trying to control. Latchman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Latchman is concentrating on defense, preventing Tom from advancing position. Latchman pushes Tom off looking to stand but Tom dives back in and keeps control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tom takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB# Latchman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tom. #T1# Tom breaks from Latchman's wrist control and lands an elbow. Tom is trying to control here but Latchman has managed to regain half guard.

Tom missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tom is just content to waste time from the top position. Latchman takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Latchman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tom throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Latchman keeping moving, preventing Tom from controlling successfully. Latchman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tom tries to counter by clinching up but Latchman breaks away and moves out of range. Kimo Latchman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tom tries to clinch up but Latchman circles away and keeps his distance. Latchman shoots in for a takedown but Tom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tom is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Latchman. Luic Tom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimo Latchman.#TD# Latchman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tom is standing up over Latchman. Latchman looks to escape but Tom dives into side control.

Ludwig with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ludwig throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Ludwig throws a head kick that misses. Ludwig throws a push kick but Tea slaps the foot to one side. Tea tries to counter by clinching up but Ludwig breaks away and moves out of range. The fighters circling - Ludwig throws out the jab but it was never going to land. #CL# Tea pushes Ludwig up against the cage in a clinch. and Palboa counters with a lovely straight right hand! Thick misses with a left hand and Palboa counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Thick out cold! What a finish! Palboa is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Scarface knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearl on the ground. Scarface throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pearl trying to control but Scarface postures up.
Scarface is trying to control. Pearl wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Scarface lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. #ES2# Pearl manages to escape and get back to his feet! Pearl uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Scarface has time to react. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pearl scores with a nice strike. Scarface gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pearl.#TD# Scarface closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pearl to the mat! Pearl manages to get full guard. Pearl is trying to control the position but Scarface postures up. Pearl has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Pearl lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pearl. Donk. Pearl catches Scarface right on the button with a cross. Pearl stuffs the takedown attempt from Scarface. Scarface gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Scarface. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pearl with a body punch. A glancing blow. A cross from Pearl lands. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pearl tests Scarface's chin there with a solid looking shot.#ROC2# Scarface is rocked! Pearl connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scarface's hands. Oh Scarface is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#T3# Pearl blocks a jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Scarface. Pearl pounces like a tiger and cracks Scarface with a vicious hook! Scarface is down but not out! Pearl follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Wills follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Superior moves out of range as Wills throws a body kick.

Kuusi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hanson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuusi somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilmari Kuusi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
