Peieira throws a lazy right hand but Aviles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Aviles half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Peieira on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Peieira misses with a shot to the body and Aviles counters with a nice uppercut. Aviles keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
As Peieira tries to get set, Aviles tries to push him back and clinch up but Peieira manages to avoid the attempt. We've been told by Aviles's head coaches at Clinch Pride that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Aviles misses with a head kick.

Berwick keeps the fight on the outside. Berwick uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Willis. Willis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Willis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Berwick pinned against the cage. Berwick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Berwick sprawls well. Berwick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Willis gets slowly back to his feet.#T1# Willis misses with the combination.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway!#TD2# Kelly manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aviles on his heels. He'll look to pass Aviles's guard now, I'm sure.#SUB# Kelly looking to improve position, pressing down on Aviles's thigh with his hand. Aviles seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Kelly paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Kelly's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Aviles picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

A very excited looking Oscar Aviles made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. Bowmer throws an overhand right that lands on Crowder's shoulder, as Crowder tries to avoid the shot. #CL2# Crowder closes the distance and pushes Bowmer back into the cage. Bowmer tries to pull guard but Crowder holds him up against the cage and eventually Bowmer drops back down to his feet.
Bowmer wants to get back to striking at distance but Crowder won't allow it.
#BC2# Crowder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bowmer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bowmer wants to clinch but Crowder slips to the side#TD2# and Crowder counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowmer is looking to regain half guard here but Crowder keeps moving and retains side control. Crowder in side control, throwing shots but Bowmer defends. And that's the end of the fight! Dante Crowder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Crowder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Yan has been working on his balance at Desert Fitness & Training -13 Elites/1 Exceptional, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by DeSoto. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Pummel , which made it look bad. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pummel sprawls well. Pummel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Pummel throws a series of strikes that have Sanchez backpedaling.
It looks like Gabe Sanchez has been cut. Pummel throws out a leg kick but Sanchez moves out of range and Pummel only half commits. Sloppy strikes from Sanchez. Those never looked like landing. Pummel throws a body kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pummel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sanchez rushes Pummel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pummel is trying to maintain a safe position but Sanchez gets an underhook and turns Pummel into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pummel throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. JT Pummel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Pummel feints and then cracks Sanchez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanchez down. Sanchez seems to have got his legs back now. Pummel lands a really nice looking cross but Sanchez seems unphased.
Pummel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Sanchez has his takedown stuffed and Pummel comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Sanchez stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Pummel is on him like rabid pit bull! Sanchez slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Stovall avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Stovall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pummel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pummel shoots for a double leg takedown but Stovall sprawls well. He's pushed Pummel 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stovall has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Stovall connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Stovall tries to close the distance and clinch but Pummel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stovall misses with a hook. Pummel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stovall. Stovall is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pummel with a body shot. Pummel slips a straight right by Stovall. Stovall throws a body shot but no joy. Stovall's corner calls for a 1-2. Stovall obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stovall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. This has been an exciting period of action!
