Onigawa leaves Fukado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Onigawa feinted with a counter takedown. Onigawa fails with a takedown attempt. Fukado throws a series of strikes that have Onigawa backpedaling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Fukado manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Onigawa on his heels. He'll look to pass Onigawa's guard now, I'm sure. Fukado controlling from the top position. #T1##SUB# Onigawa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Fukado is looking to defend but Onigawa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fukado! Onigawa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fukado taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Rivera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ngata counters with a straight right hand.#CUT2#It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut. Rivera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rivera darts in trying to clinch and Ngata makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rivera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ngata manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rivera is breathing heavily.#TD2# Ngata feints and as Rivera raises his hands in defense, Ngata changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rivera is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ngata dives into side control.
#REVR# Ngata scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rivera is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ngata can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Those have got to be taking their toll on Roberts's gas tank. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. I was talking to Chai's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Still in the clinch, Chai scores with a nice short uppercut. Chai softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Chai lands with a right to the head. #T1# Both guys are working to get underhooks. Chai working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chai creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Chai lands a body punch in the clinch. Chai scores with a nice hook to the head. Chai works on Roberts's body with a couple of short punches. Roberts looks winded! Nice body punch from Chai - that landed with a thud.

Chai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Anderson Jones misses with a low kick.

Tomahawk Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chai ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice cross by Chai. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Anderson Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Anderson Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Chai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Anderson Jones thinking. Anderson Jones looks winded!#T1# Chai is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Anderson Jones like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Anderson Jones from another fist facial!

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sang Min not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Sang Min decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #T1##TD2# Sang Min bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Spence bucks up and tries to throw Sang Min off but instead Sang Min has got his back! Oooh a big shot gets through from Sang Min. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Haynes is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#SUB# Gracie has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mason to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle!
