Tartle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blanco's sensitive parts. Blanco digs a good body shot into Tartle's ribs. Tartle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tartle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Blanco works Tartle's body with a nice hook. A shot to the body from Blanco misses and Tartle counters with a body kick that stops Blanco in his tracks momentarily. Blanco cracks Tartle with an open hand slap. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 38 wins and 22 losses; Thom Thumb! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Thumb shoots and misses #CL# and Kelly counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kelly wants to take the fight to the mat but Thumb manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Thumb drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Coptor scores with a sloppy right hand. Kronke should have avoided that one. Coptor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kronke was well out of range. Poor timing from Coptor. Kronke throws out a loose jab but Coptor uses good head movement to avoid it. Coptor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Coptor lands a leg kick that knocks Kronke off balance momentarily. Kronke misses with a right hand and Coptor counters with a three punch combo that has Kronke backing up. Kronke nods at Coptor to acknowledge the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've been informed that Kronke has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. #CUT2#It looks like Helio Coptor has been cut. Coptor bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Coptor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.#KD2# Kronke lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Coptor goes down! The ref sends Kronke to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Coptor is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kronke dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kronke throws a looping overhand right but Coptor ducks down to avoid it. Kronke has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kronke darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Kronke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coptor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kronke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
