In the red corner hailing from Rochester, United States and fighting out of Amsterdam - with a perfect record of 7 wins, 0 losses - 2 by way of knockout - The Animal - Aaron Witt.
In the blue corner hailing from Cheliabinsk, Russia and fighting out of Amsterdam with a record of 8 wins - 8 by way of submission and 6 losses - Pal Secam.
With Aaron Witt holding a perfect MMA record, and showing he is deadly on the ground in his last two fights finishing both by TKO strikes Pal Secam will have a hard time dealing with the aggressive young fighter who also has the weight advantage - which may be crucial in retaining top position in this fight.
Having Abysmal boxing and Woeful Muay Thai hasn't stopped Witt in the past. Grinding a win out against the gritty Thomas Gunner with superior stand up, and then brutally Knocking out David Morse in round one in just over 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If that wasn't enough, he then has a re-match with David Morse - who had improved further on his striking which didn't phase The Animal as he steamed through his opponent once again, but this time in just over 1 minute.
With Pal Secam having a totally different start to his MMA career he has his work cut out. Having been hot and cold most of his careerm he is nothing but unpredicatble. He has won the last 4 of his 5 fights in HBP whilst riding a two fight win streak, where he finished both opponents with beautiful submissions.
With superior stand up, will he look to stand and bang? Or will he go back to bread and butter and try control the bigger fighter on the ground and yet again pull out another submission victory?
Only time will tell but I guarantee one thing: there wil be fireworks.
