22 Apr 25 - Weekly Recap
Alright, folks â MMA Hype Promotions had an absolutely wild weekend filled with blood, sweat, and names that mightâve been generated by an AI with a caffeine addiction. Hereâs a recap of last week's events:
đ„ MMA Hype -51- (April 16)
âThe Parisian shook like a bottle of expired pre-workout.â
The night kicked off like someone hit fast-forward on a bar fight. Jay Lawrence made Shawn Silvia tap via submission by punches â the rare "I'm done, please stop punching me" special.
Ken FrownFelter battered Shteve Erthegg with a TKO, proving once and for all that vowel economy doesnât win fights.
Huolilong Li gave Charles Luciano a one-way ticket to the shadow realm with a clean KO punch â someone check if Charles is still buffering.
The Fight of the Night belonged to Bryson Whitehead vs. Stephen Blair, who threw everything at each other for 15 minutes and still ended up with a majority draw. Like two guys fighting over the last protein bar, and nobody wins.
Kurt Heinicke won KO of the Night by clocking Timmy Tommy with the kind of punch that makes your ancestors hurt. Somewhere, the Tooth Fairy is filing for overtime.
Also, letâs not forget Rowan Duranâs savage TKO over Kimo Sabe in under a minute. Brutal. Efficient. Zero filler.
Event MVP: Kurt Heinicke
Event Mood: Explosive gym beef energy
đ„ MMA Hype -52- (April 19)

08 Mar 25 - MMA Midget Championship Pre-Fight Interview
Pre-Fight Interview for MMA Hype Promotions Midget Championship.
Date: March 9th, 2025
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Promoted by: MMA Hype Promotions (James Listerman & Jay Lawrence)
Interviewer (Mike "Mic Drop" Dawson):
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the wildest, tiniest showdown in Las Vegas history â the final round of a 16-man tournament for the MMA Hype Midget Championship! Iâm Mike âMic Dropâ Dawson, and tomorrow we have two fierce, pint-sized warriors ready to prove that big heart comes in small packages. Letâs meet our finalists!
Mike:
First up, weighing in at âfun-sized fury,â we have Olaf Koks! Managed by the enigmatic Mr. Nobody, Olafâs ready to knock the socks off his opponentâif he can reach them, that is!
Olaf Koks (grinning widely):
You know, Mike, they say dynamite comes in small packages. I may be under 5 feet, but tonight Iâm packing enough punch to make you wish youâd worn steel-toed sneakers!
Mike:
Ha! I hope the ringside gear is up to snuff tonight. Now, in the opposite corner, we have the ever-confident, slightly eccentric Dram Macallan, guided by the ever-normal Jimmy Normal. Dram, your styleâs been described as âfinesse meets feisty,â and Iâve seen you roll faster than a tumbleweed in a Las Vegas wind tunnel!
Dram Macallan (winking):
Thanks, Mike! I might be pint-sized, but Iâve got the heart of a champion and the feet of a cat. Jimmy Normal keeps me grounded, but tonight Iâm aiming to be anything but normalâprepare to witness a tiny tornado of talent!
Mike:
There you have it, folks. Two warriors, two managers, and a whole lot of tiny titans ready to clash in the octagon of legends. Olafâs managed by Mr. Nobodyâwho apparently likes to keep his identity as mysterious as his fighterâs training regimen (rumor has it it involves secret naps and chili hot sauce). Meanwhile, Dramâs managed by the one and only Jimmy Normalâproving that sometimes, normal is just the starting point for extraordinary!
Mike (leaning in with a chuckle):
Now, Olaf, Iâve heard your opponents often mention that your fighting style is like a mix of âinvisibilityâ and âlightning quick,â but is it true you once dodged a fly mid-fight?
Olaf (laughing):
Absolutely, Mike! That fly didnât stand a chance. If I can dodge a fly, imagine what Iâll do in the octagon!
Mike:
And Dram, your technique has been called âartistic mayhem.â Is it true you spend half your training time dancing around the mat?
Dram (grinning):
You got it, Mike! I believe in mixing rhythm with rebellion. Who says you canât moonwalk your way to a submission? Jimmy Normal keeps me on the straight and narrow, but tonight, Iâm free to dance like everyoneâs watching!
Mike (with a playful smirk):
Well, there you have it. In a tournament where every fighter is under 5 feet tall and under 135 pounds, these two are proof that when it comes to heart and hustle, size truly doesnât matter. MMA Hype Midget Championship is set to deliver non-stop action, laughter, and maybe a few unexpected dance moves!
Mike (raising his voice):
So buckle up, fight fans! Tonight, in Las Vegas, prepare for a bout where the people are small but the hype is huge. Letâs get ready for a fight thatâs as explosive as it is endearing!
