TROID REVIEW: Forais Chruthaíonn IV

Hey everyone, it was another fantastic event for Troid last Sunday with the 205lbs title on the line in the main event and a whole host of other talent involved as well. Here we round up the results and what happened during the fights

Levasqua def. Leon via Majority Decision

Bit of an odd battle here as Leone took Levasqua to the ground, only for Levasqua to overrun him with submission attempts. In a fight that could have gone either way, Levasqua did enough to convince the judges to give him the win.

Be def. The Lion via Kimura in Round 2

The Lion dominated Be in the first round, using the clinch to full effect. Unfortunately, he could not maintain that in the second round. Be gained the clinch in th

Welcome back HONOR fans. We had very exciting event and I once again got all of my predictions correct, which is awesome. Even if they aren’t exactly the way I wanted them to go. I’m super short on time so let’s take a quick look at what went down.

Preliminary Bout Number 1 – Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Bj “Booieman” Ferguson Defeats Rusaka “Baraka” Gono

As soon as the fight started, Gono threw out combos like nobody’s business, which ultimately led to his defeats. His early, failed combinations left him vulnerable to a takedow

Justin Hunter - Rising to the Challenge

Fighter profile of Justin Hunter by David Morrison

It took just 22 seconds for Justin Hunter to close out Wolfpack Fighting Championship’s final event, WPFC-3 McNulty vs. Hunter. The Los Angeles based promotion pitted two undefeated fighters against each other in the main event as Hunter (3-0) faced off against Mac “The Mouth” McNulty (5-1) for the lightweight title in a bout that promised fireworks. McNulty had pounded out 4 of his 5 opponents en route to the title and was heavily favored as his superior Jiu Jitsu and ground and pound skills posed several problems for Hunter.

“I worked very hard on my takedo

Experienced Brazilian Diego Sanchez faces one of the best HW fighter in FFC Sean Watson at the upcoming FFC 8 event scheduled for June 28th’s in Hayashi's Lounge in Rio. The heavyweight contest will probably end the main card of the show.

HFC-1 Review

Event Review: Honour-1 Stromberg vs Vidal
Honour Fighting Championship
2014-06-07, Helsinki, Micro Arena - Helsinki
Attendance:249, Event Rating:58
Author:Tony Rossi

The first HFC event is in the books and if you are a fan of quick finishes then this event was for you. Three fights lasted less than 30 seconds and only four fights made it past the three minute mark. Before I get into the action I want to inform you all that at the end of this review I will tell you the winners of the bonuses. Let’s get started.

Cross vs Perruzi:

This was a very odd fight to me. Early on it appeared that Cross was not sure exactly what he wanted to do as he went from clinch to takedown and then standing back up. Eventually his mind appeared made up and he went to the clinch and proceeded to dominate the fight. Perruzi also baffled me a little in this fight. While not being know for his wrestling he continuously tried, and failed, to take the fight to the ground. Perhaps he thought it was where he matched up best. In the end the only thing that did not confuse me about this fight was the way it was scored with Cross
