Obviously, you have logged on to MMATycoon, taken some interest, and you want to create a fighter and show the world what you have as a “manager”. Congrats! I can tell you (also being a noob myself), that it’s addicting, it’s fun, and it doesn’t have to take up a lot of time. MMATycoon is the perfect , temporary, escape-hatch from average every-day boredom!!
The term “noob” is basically short for “noobie” or “new guy”. I used to spell it “newb”, but I was informed by a vet here in our MMATycoon world that the correct spelling is “noob” as in “big, dumb, boob”. As in most organizations within society, the new guys takes a lot o’ lumps as he gets started, thus you are stuck with the title until you get out there, train, and win a couple o’ fights.
The following is a quick “laundry list” if you will, of common mistakes made by “noobs”. I should know, Iv’e made every one of these! I’m still learning as I go, but if I can help you avoid some of these pitfalls, I think your time here will be MUCH more enjoyable without such a learning curve.

-RON BURGUNDY (MMA 10-0-1) (BDX 10-0-1) (LW champion) : When he signed with BDX one year ago, Burgundy had yet to make his pro MMA debut... today he is still undeafeated after 11 fights, only conceding a draw in a fight many thought he won.  Robert Bradshaw is off to a great start after winning his fourth fight in a row. He has won two of his fights by TKO, another by KO, and one decision. He is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the BHFC Vegas. We approached him as he was leaving his gym to ask him a couple questions.
Hello Robert. How does it feel to win your fourth fight in a row by TKO?
It feels great,Matt. I was training like crazy before that fight, trying to improve my wrestling and ground game. It was a good fight, and I came out on top, but it could've gone either way.
What are your plans after finishing your final fight with BHFC?
Well I plan on staying and competing with BHFC. Its really a great org and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a great place to fight in Veg

 Today saw the return of Team Thomas Fight Club and they were back live from the sold out Wild Bob's Bar in New york. A lot of anticipation came with this event as the first event had been such a hit. Team Thomas and it's roster of fighter's didn't disappoint! There was a lot of action thrown at us, with alot of the fights ending in the first round!
Let's go straight into this review of the event and see how each match ended!

 If you've played many of the other sports sims online, you may be familiar with the concept of a pyramid league structure for rankings. We'll be adding this as a feature in the near future for both managers and alliances.
For both types, we'll have leagues of 8 managers, with 1 top division, 3 second divisions, 9 third divisions, 27 fourth divisions etc, down to level 7 for managers and however many levels we need for alliances (probably 3).
Each season will last 1 month, starting on the first day of the month with one manager being promoted and 3 being relegated from each division. We will also take into account inactive managers, so sometimes the second placed manager will also be promoted.
I've always wanted to do this structure but never got round to it because I couldn't think of a suitable scoring system. I came up with something today that I'm happy with, so here goes;
# 3 points for a win
# 1 point for a draw
# + or - a point for a finish or being finished
# A bonus of 1-8 points for each manager in the league, based on their opponent's hype (based on the fighter rather than the manager)
# This applies up to 10 fights in the month. After 10 fights, the points are adjusted to be an average points score over 10 fights

 Hello everyone!
The Four Kings in Amsterdam is a starting 150k ID capped fight org for the future MMA royalty of MMATycoon. We are planning to have some inter-org tournaments in future. We already have recaps, event posters and a private gym for 4K fighters only!
So... What's up with the name "four kings" eh? Since the fighter weight isn't such a big deal in MMATycoon I thought I'd suppress the division count a bit. This way the match making will be easier and there will be more opponents/fight opportunities. The champion of each weight class will be crowned a KING. =) The Four Kings weight divisions are as follows:
- 4K Lightweight (135 & 145lbs)
- 4K Middleweight (155 & 170lbs)
- 4K Cruiserweight (185 & 205lbs)
- 4K Heavyweight (265 & +265lbs)

 After the resounding success of our Muay Thai Tournament and Muay Thai League, the 135lbs class has now been opened up to all who want to enter.
The 135lbs class will remain a KT class, thus if you have a little boxer or muay thai fighter let me know. Fighters of all skill level are welcome. We have a few new fighters as well as a the Champ Alexander Smirnov who won both the Muay Thai Tournament and the Muay Thai League.
His record stands at 15 wins and only 2 losses. He has only been KO'd once back in August 2011.
