 Editorial by Rei Backstage after the event, we at MMAMemedia.com caught a word with CEO and owner Rei, who was seen to be in fouler spirits than usual, no doubt due to the results of tonight's event.
Q: Your 10th event has just come to a close, what are your general feelings now that its over?
A: To be honest, I'm not impressed. We had Boxers grappling for 20 minutes, guys flailing around throwing nothing but combos, a Main Event that had the crowd falling asleep & a no contest due to a fat bastard not making weight.
Q: News broke that earlier today, hours before the event kicked off - you managed to secure a deal with a merchandise partner. How did that come about?
A: Mmhm. We are now partnered with the world-renowned Arcticus University who will be providing merchandise for our events going forward. We hope to release some execlusive Budokai fight-wear in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled for that.

In general I'd also like to talk about the lack of recent updates on the game. The good news is that that should be changing and you should see some updates coming soon.
The reason for the drop off has been 3 fold.
- I'm in the middle of moving house. Unfortunately the local primary school by us is rubbish, so we're having to move house to get my little boy into a better school. I've had to do a lot of work on our house to get it ready to sell but thankfully that's pretty much all done now. We haven't sold the house yet but we're nearly there...
- My programmer had his second child a few months ago so he was around less than normal.
- Finally, I run another site in www.betmma.tips. I wanted to get a load of new features programmed on that site, which are now complete.
Will Brawler is also helping me out by being a kind of liaison officer, between the forum and myself. I'll be honest and say that when the forum is full of complaining, it's really de-motivating, so I just don't bother looking. I've asked him to pick one of the smaller updates per week for us to work on, to get back into the swing of things.
So, onwards and upwards. First update is going to be adding a manager hall of fame for orgs and I hope to have that sorted within the week.
