Yet, week after week he was still here standing knee-deep in shit and there was still "a few weeks" more to go. Those weeks had already turned into years but now there was finally a light at the end of the pipe, just a few more weeks now. No, he wasn't fooling anyone any more, not even himself. He was in some deep shit here.
The place had been a mess from day 1, haphazardly expanded in different directions with no clear plan. Ah the good old days when no one cared and everything seemed easy and fun. And he still had money back then. Yes this fucking economy, now it seemed everyone except him had more money than they knew what to do with. Property prices in the VIP neighbourhoods had inflated something crazy. And here he was still having to sneak out to the dark alley behind a nearby Riga gym every time he had to take a dump.
