Ladies and Gentlemen, following a quick stop over under the bright lights of Los Angeles CFC returns to Montreal for a quick follow up show live from the Expo!! After bringing in a large number of ringers to fill the seats in LA we return to regularly scheduled action here with our 390K ID fighters.  Hey there folks! Risa Roo here doing the undercard previews for the big pay-per-view coming on up tonight. Now that I’m done my fall semester (got good grades as per usual, everyone say “good job Risa!”) and on winter break, Hare has put me back to work on previews for all y’all. Without further ado, let’s get right into it!
Hare: Whoa, whoa whoa! Hold up there missy! This isn’t a one horse show you know! Or, should I say, one Donkey show?!?  Calling a year in which you earn your second title shot in four fights a “tough one” seems strange, but that’s where Ryoto Takahashi is at the moment. The 30-year-old Japanese fighter who fights out of Convicted Fight Club is scheduled to take on all-action veteran and SMASH featherweight and lightweight double champ, Mama Tosen.
It's a quality matchup between a couple of the finest fresh talents at 145 pounds, although Tosen is a bit more battle-tested coming off a string of impressive finishes over Biabas Kitjakarn, Rob Roy, and Taylor Jack. While it’s a pairing that serves Takahashi well should he get his hand raised, it didn’t add any extra zest to his training camp.
“I don’t need motivation,” Takahashi told us. “This is my job. I go, every day, to my job and do what I have to do. That’s it. Sometimes I have motivation. Sometimes, (I don’t). I don’t look for motivation…I do what I have to do. That’s it.”

What happened to the days of checking the need contract box, and the next day logging in to seeing 4 contract offers to choose from.
I love the idea of org's looking for fighters -as opposed to what we've been seeing lately- managers/fighters cherry picking the best orgs with divisions that suit them to win the title and go undefeated til you've crushed enough cans and decide to move on...
Please if you run an org, check for young talent in need of contracts. Make fighters fight their way up, and don't give that cherry picker a title shot when he's 0-0 and been training for 3 game years...
