Colby Taylor rising to the top

Fighter profile of Colby Taylor by Thomas Forrester

The PA team at KIFC had a chance to sit down with Cobly Taylor this week and speak to the Bantamweight champ. Here is what he had to say.

Colby you are 6-0 (1-0) in the KIFC, the #4 P4P fighter on the island and the #1 Bantamweight and you cleaned out your weight class in the QFCs and have fought 1 fighter in the KIFC. Who do you want to face next?
Colby: "#4 P4P and rising!!!! I am the most entertaining fighter on The Island and the one the fans come to see because I finish fights! 3 finishes in under 32 seconds! Only one guy has made it out of the first round! Doesn't really matter who is next.... I am a different breed and when you stare across that cage at me, you had better understand that you are in for the test of your life. This is the jungle and I will

Sucker Punch Pro Series - SPPS 233 Preview

Event Preview: Sucker Punch Pro Series 233
Sucker Punch Pro Series
2023-02-22, London, Wombley Arena
Author:Hare Rumpler

Howdy folks!  Hare Rumpler here along with my buddy and colleague, Donkey “Dan”, as we get set for an exhilarating SPPS 233 in London today!  If the Wombley is a rockin’, and it will be, well…um…you just gotta get over there!  Or something like that.  Haha!

Tonight’s big fight will be the Featherweight Title Fight between challenger Lemmy Bang…who won the belt back in December but lost it in his first defense…and the man who took the belt back to reclaim the title for himself, Jihadi Joseph!  This is Joseph’s third go at holding the title and he’s hoping that three times is a charm and that this will be a successful title defense, something that has eluded him to this point.  I doubt Bang plans to make that an easy task!

Other big action, pun definitely intended, will give us the return of the Parta Party

Butch Cassidy riding 9-fight win streak into title fight

Fighter profile of Butch Cassidy by Chris Karter

RISE welterweight #1 contender Butch Cassidy (9-2-0) is riding a 9-fight win streak heading into his RISE welterweight championship fight with currently undefeated champ Tagnarach Kamara (11-0-0). Both fighters are riding momentum from lengthy winning streaks, but Cassidy thinks he has what it takes to make this fight competetive, and push the champ to limits he's never felt before, mostly due to his intense training regime at Outlaw MMA in New York.

"We're a small fight team, there's 9 of us, plus the coaches, but we go hard every day. One thing that I have that Kamara doesn't, durability. I can push through being gassed and just keep giving it and giving it. My wife loves me, and she knows my cardio is elite. It definitely shows in the cage big time."

Cassidy's opponent, the Irishmen Tagnarach Kamara, is a heavy favorite for odds makers, but Cassidy cites that Kamara's fight with his teammate at Outlaw MMA against Harry Alonzo Longabaugh gave

Toby Keith Yrkje Ripped by Fans for Anti-Gay Post

Fighter profile of Toby Keith Yrkje by Chris Karter

Former Blaze Brothers star and Combate welterweight fighter "Cow Puncher" Toby Keith Yrkje (21-12-0) is in the crosshairs of the LGBTQ community ... after he tweeted an anti-gay response to a commercial that showed two men kissing.

The 30-year-old, who famously submitted #2 Welterweight Kaki Mountain back at BB 32, fired off the offensive comments after he said he saw the ad while watching ESPN+.   In his tweet, he said the commercial was "disgusting" and that he had to tell his kids "look away so they don't see two men kissing."   The former fighter, a devout Christian, added a throwing up emoji.   Immediately, the Combate Welterweight fighter was panned by fans for the remarks ... but he doubled down on his stance in further tweets.   "Touching tips don't make a baby." He added, "and the devil will sodomize your souls in hell."   As of Monday afternoon, the posts were still up on his social media page.   Toby Keith's last pro fight came at Combate 166,

Lou Valentine had $100 in his bank account before last win

Fighter profile of Lou Valentine by Chris Karter

LOS ANGELES – "The Wolverine" Lou Valentine beat Rigel Ko Nachi with a third-round submission on the preliminary card at Combate 164 in Los Angeles.

Take a look inside the fight with Valentine, who picked up his first Combate win after a rough outing in 2022 that saw him go 5-7-1 throughout the year.   “I can’t remember if the sequence happened where I had a kimura grip earlier in the fight and I kind of abandoned it or felt like it wasn’t quite there, or if it was the same sequence and I readjusted. But whatever it was the second time, or maybe it was the third time, or even the fourth time, the time that I got the finish, it started off not too deep, and then something happened. I don’t know, I shifted on my hip a little bit, and I felt it kind of slide in there a little bit deeper.   “Once he rolled to his back, I knew he was kind of in trouble. I thought about using it just to sweep and get on top and go back into mountain and kind of control the rou

Billy Blank shows fans why he is the Bulldozer

Fighter profile of Billy Blank by Chris Karter

LOS ANGELES - Billy "Bulldozer" Blank (16-7-0) showed fight fans why they call him Bulldozer during his Combate debut at Combate 164 when he took on former BB Heavyweight champion Juki Allu (16-8-0) in a clash of BB veterans making their Combate debut after the BB organization merger.

Juki Allu was riding a 6-fight win streak heading into the bout that included 3 consecutive title fight defenses prior to meeting the British Billy Blank in the cage. Billy had overcame the Corona Virus in only 39 seconds prior to this matchup, and that made him feel invincible.

"The Corona Virus TKO'd the whole world in 2020, and I beat it in 39 seconds. I not only beat it, I knocked it the f*** out." Billy Blank proudly exclaims. "I knew if I could defeat the Corona Virus, I could defeat anything. Absolutely anything. So I went out there and proved it mate. I proved it big time."

And prove it big time is exactly what he did against Juki Allu, w
