Reese Remmington’s career began with a swift and unceremonious boot out the door. His first manager, the respected Jersey, saw potential but ultimately cut him loose for being too inexperienced. Reese was a fast learner, sure—but Jersey wasn’t willing to wait. Enter Tosh Lodi, a struggling manager desperate for a prospect who wasn’t learning at the speed of a garden snail. On Jersey’s recommendation, Tosh scooped up Reese, thrilled to finally have a fighter who could absorb knowledge like a sponge instead of a brick.
But Reese wasn’t without his quirks. The team at Tosh’s gym quickly noticed three glaring issues: his deep, unwavering hatred for pizza (a crime in itself), his relentless enthusiasm for musicals (painful for the locker room), and, oddly enough, his reputation for exceptional bedroom performances (a distracting and frankly unnecessary topic of discussion).
Despite these… eccentricities, Reese delivered in the cage. He racked up wins and eventually earned himself a title shot at Enigma 400k+. Unfortunately, it was an absolute disaster. His chin—exposed as fragile as a wafer cracker—led to a brutal knockout loss. Then came another KO defeat. Tosh, once glowing with hope, was now shaking his head in frustration. His golden boy had turned into baby-soft putty. From that moment on, Reese was branded with the humiliating nickname “Buttercup”—a constant reminder that he was, in Tosh’s words, soft as baby poo.

Post-Fight Interview with Tyler Compton after his KO Victory over Luke Hickman
Interviewer: "Tyler, that was an absolutely incredible knockout tonight! You’ve had some strong performances in the past, but this one seemed like a statement. Walk us through that knockout."
Tyler Compton: "Thanks, man. Honestly, I’ve been working a lot on my stand-up lately. My team and I knew Luke was dangerous on the ground, so we focused a lot on staying on our feet and landing clean strikes. The KO came from a combination we’ve drilled in the gym a lot, and it just landed perfectly. I saw him coming in, and I knew it was my shot."
Interviewer: "You definitely took advantage of that opportunity. Luke seemed to be controlling the pace early on, but then you turned it around. Was there any moment you felt like you were starting to get the rhythm of the fight?"

 MMA Hype Promotions Weekly Recap
It was another exciting week at MMA Hype Promotions. Hard to beat the debut of the Midget Wrestling League as they were definitely entertaining throwing each other around the cage! But, MMA Hype Promotions had Las Vegas popping with several very exciting fights.
MMA Hype -35-
An almost packed arena at Hard Knocks in Las Vegas came mostly to see the top 10 ranked and undefeated heavyweight Gage Burns fight the 6-1 grappling protege Nico Wong. Wong's only loss was in a championship round of a tournament and Wong was the favorite to win (according to bets received) despite Burns' undefeated 5-0 record. Wong attempted early to take the fight to the ground despite his advantage in Muay Thai. But Burns first punished Wong with a perfect 15 out of 15 strikes to Wong's face. Burns then decided he wanted to punish Wong on the ground and pulled guard. With an unorthodox style, Burns used his elbows and fiercely attacked Wong from the guard. Wong seemed dazed and confused, leaning on Burns nearly unconscious. The referee put an end to the fight just over a minute in and Burns made it clear to the world he can strike while standing, or on the ground...even from the guard. Burns will only need to defeat 1 more opponent for a shot at the heavyweight title.
Burns' TKO of Wong was almost as impressive as Killian Holloway's flying knee that knocked out Fabrice Trausch just 30 seconds into the fight. Trausch came in as the higher skilled fighter, but it was clear that he did not prepare for sprinting, flying knees. It is rumored Trausch is now studdering when talking and suffered several seizures while at the hospital after this one. We will have a medical report coming soon on Trausch's career. If Trausch doesn't return, this would be the second fighter Holloway has retired with his Lethal Kicks.

Some athletes start in sports to help to control their hyperactive behaviour or aggressiveness, some by inflence of a close relative, other by watching on tv since very young age, and others by first knowning the sport on school and liking it, but this kid has a very different history... Ygor "Tank" Ramalenko was a standard shy boy on his school in St Petersburg, talked very little, was a good student and always avoid the big bullies. Till some day one boy 3 years older than him throw soup on his face in front of the whole school. Ramalenko lost his very controled temper and throw a punch into the other boys face. One punch and one bigger boy felt on the ground moaning of pain. That older boy broken 3 bones on his skull on that punch and the police officer who was called to that occurrence saw to potential on that kid and convinced him to go the a gym. Few years passed and now Ramalenko turned a pro mma fighter at the age of 16 with the promise of delivering more punches like that one on school. The rest of the history is yet to be told... |
