 Welcome back Sucker Punch fans! We’re getting set down here in Sydney for SPPS 95 tonight and I, Hare Rumpler, will be with you all evening along with our analyst, the most loved (or hated, depending upon who you are!) ass around, Donkey “Dan”! We’re back over at the Sydney Superdome tonight as we get ready to hopefully pack it with close to 30,000 screaming Sucker Punch faithful…so long as I didn’t screw up the ticket giveaways again tonight! LOL!
We’re literally only four events away now from our biggest event ever at SPPS 98 when we’ll be in one of the super arenas for the very first time, The Tokyo Bowl, which holds over 93k people! The run-up to that event is going to be wild as the excitement continues to build and SPPS 95 tonight will certainly be NO exception as we have a night full of fantastic action set for you!
Also, as many of you already know, we’ve continued to move forward with our plans to approach unrestricted status here at Sucker Punch Pro Series! We’ve been hinting at it for a while now, which is why we’ve moved to PPV events and larger venues, and we’ve recently reached out to all of our current fighters and managers to ensure that we’re on the right path and that everybody is on board and ‘in the know’. The feedback and response has been amazingly positive and there is no doubt in my mind that our crew at Sucker Punch is confident that we here in the front office will always make every effort to do right by the folks that made us who we are. And lest there be any confusion, that’s our managers and fighters! We owe you everything, and we’ll continue to try to make this the most fun org to be part of!
So why don’t we jump into this thing? Something for everybody is what we’ve got on tap tonight…Featherweights, plenty of Welterweight action including the title on the line between defending Champ Darry Curtis and challenger, Red Crow, even some big boy action between Tyson and Wrecks in the Co-Main Event. And just about everything in between, minus I think the Lightweights who won’t be in action this evening!
