Ralph Brisk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Valite shoots in for a double leg but Bee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Valite stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bee has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Valite manages to get his head free but now Bee has transitioned to an armbar! Valite grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bee! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawke misses with a straight left.
Hawke looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hawke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mehoff.
Hawke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blayne Hawke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawke has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mehoff.
A left and a right from Hawke both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Jacques Mehoff has been cut.
Hawke connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mehoff tumbling to the canvas! Hawke pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mehoff was done - good stoppage!
