The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stanley.
Hassan misses with a wild combination.
Sloppy strikes from Hassan. Those never looked like landing.
Hassan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stanley tries a head kick but it misses.
Stanley moves in looking to clinch but Hassan pushes him off.
Hassan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hashim Jalilul Hassan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hassan feints with a jab and clips Stanley right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Stanley is sent crashing into the canvas and Hassan leaps in for the kill! Stanley tries to get to his feet but Hassan is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Stanley is in need of a savior and steps in!

Hashim Jalilul Hassan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Fukuta shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liang pinned against the cage. Liang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Liang leaves Fukuta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fukuta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liang swivels and escapes.
Kuai Liang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sai Fukuta.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fukuta crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Liang - the referee stops the clock and Fukuta gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Liang. Fukuta manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Liang moves in looking to clinch but Fukuta pushes him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
