Taranin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carter manages to avoid it.
Taranin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carter sprawls well. Carter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Taranin gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Carter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Carter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
