The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Morya.
Morya has his takedown stuffed

and Thrower moves into the clinch.
Morya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thrower lands a knee to the head.

Thrower breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morya fails with a takedown attempt.

Morya dives in and grabs Thrower's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thrower pushes down on Morya's head and hops out.

Thrower has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Morya is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Thrower lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Morya feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morya throws a strike but Thrower rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Palbociclib Ibrance (ranked 4045 p4p, 459 weight class) and Maicom Andrade (ranked 3713 p4p, 427 weight class). Palbociclib Ibrance had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
