The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munday drives through and clinches with Belkacem against the cage.

Belkacem wants to get back to striking at distance but Munday won't allow it.
Munday stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Munday has Belkacem pressed against the cage, preventing Belkacem from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A nice left hand lands by Munday.

Munday has Belkacem pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Munday pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Belkacem tumbling to the mat - Munday dives into Belkacem's guard.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Spencer dives in and scores a takedown into Guy's guard.
Spencer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Spencer trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom.
Spencer is looking to work some ground and pound but Guy has wrist control.
Guy is trying to control the position but Spencer postures up.
Guy looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Spencer throws an elbow that misses. Guy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Spencer's guard. Nice move by Guy!

Guy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Spencer can't keep his opponent in guard - Guy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Guy seems to be working for a kimura but Spencer defends the submission attempt.
Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Spencer is squirming around, avoiding Guy's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Guy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Spencer for as long as he can get away with.
Guy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Spencer is looking to escape.

Guy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Spencer is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Spencer flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Guy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Spencer and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Guy slips an arm under Spencer chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Guy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Guy is squeezing on Spencer like an anaconda would it's prey. Spencer fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Thomas connects with a jab.

It looks like Derek Rogan has been cut.
Thomas slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thomas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rogan fails with the takedown.
Luke Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas wants to clinch but Rogan slips to the side

and Rogan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Thomas!

Rogan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Thomas felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rogan has an Americana. Thomas didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rogan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rogan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Our winner, Derek Rogan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Luke Thomas spoke after the fight, saying 'I can't believe that the Referee did not see this faggot son of a bitch rubbing my balls and caressing my anus while we were on the ground!!! What the hell is a man to do when he is being aroused in this way??? It makes fighting very hard to do! I'm contesting this loss!!!'.

Undercard bout

I think Honda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sakura. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Honda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gladney takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice sprawl there from Honda as Gladney shoots in.

Honda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gladney motions for Honda to come forward. Gladney throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gladney looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gladney tries to land a front kick but Honda steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Honda drops Gladney with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gladney looks back up at him and smiles so Honda waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gladney is still on wobbly legs! Can Honda finish him?
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Gladney might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Honda has got the better of the exchanges.

Gladney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gladney is breathing heavily.

Gladney drops his hands momentarily. Honda doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Gladney staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Gladney doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
