The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung darts in looking for a takedown but Sanchez gets double underhooks and turns Jung into the cage.
Kim Jung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sanchez.
Jung throws a sloppy head kick and Sanchez moves out of range easily.
Sanchez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jung, pushing him back against the cage.

Sanchez jumps guard and drags Jung to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sanchez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jung's guard.

Funke has taken the fight to the clinch.

Stalker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Funke takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Stalker wants to get up but he can't break Funke's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Funke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stalker stands and steps away. Funke gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
