Thompson Throws a clean left jab. Thompson Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Snow's chin! Snow crumbles to the ground and Thompson follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Thompson!

Arial feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big left from Koniu misses.
McTavish drops his hands momentarily and Koniu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Hamish McTavish has been cut.
We've been told by Koniu's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Koniu's jab looks to have found its range, popping McTavish under the eye.
Koniu keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Koniu grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! McTavish takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Koniu cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawson (ranked 3227 p4p, 124 weight class) and Urban Go Bucks (ranked 2862 p4p, 65 weight class). Dawson's entrance music is Titanic theme. A fine choice. Go Bucks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Seven Nation Sloopy-- DJ ERB. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
