The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzun swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Loiri takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Loiri drives through and clinches with Uzun against the cage.
I was talking to Loiri's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Uzun wants to stand but Loiri is controlling his posture from full guard.
Loiri working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Uzun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Loiri is tightening it up a little... Uzun has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Uzun reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Uzun taps out! Nice BJJ there by Loiri!
