Seventeen has a takedown stuffed.
Seventeen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Babyara leaves Seventeen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Babyara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Seventeen doesn't seem phased though.
Seventeen misses with a few strikes there.
Babyara wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Babyara has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at London MMA Club. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gellar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thomas.
Thomas misses with an uppercut
and Gellar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gellar tries to move into range but Thomas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gellar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thomas.
A slow jab from Thomas misses its intended target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gellar! But no joy.
Gellar swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.
Gellar throws a sloppy head kick and Thomas moves out of range easily.
Thomas throws a series of punches but Gellar avoids them all with ease.
Gellar swings for the body but Thomas moves out of range.

Thomas scores with a nice hook to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jax Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thomas moves into range and clinches up with Gellar.
Thomas throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Thomas misses with a hook from the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gellar.
Gellar tries to work over Thomas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Thomas blocks an uppercut.
Thomas lands with a left to the head.
I was talking to Thomas's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gellar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Thomas.
Thomas lands with a light punch inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gellar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gellar throws a leg kick that is checked
and Thomas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thomas batters Gellar with a massive right followed by a huge left! Gellar is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Thomas lands a final crushing right hand to drop Gellar to the mat with a gruesome thud! Thomas is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
