Laiho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Monteiro tries to avoid it but Laiho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Monteiro to the ground. Monteiro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Monteiro was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Monteiro counters with a stiff right hand.
Laiho tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Monteiro defends well and Laiho ends up having to push Monteiro into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Maugøn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
DeSilva appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
DeSilva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
DeSilva connects with a leg kick. Maugøn looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Maugøn looks to throw the jab but DeSilva is out of range.
DeSilva tries a low kick but Maugøn avoids it.
Maugøn quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Maugøn has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from DeSilva.

Maugøn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
DeSilva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
DeSilva throws a good cross that connects.
DeSilva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Antonio Mauricio DeSilva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
DeSilva tries to score with a low kick but Maugøn moves his leg out of the way.
