The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Costa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and De Costa counters with a nice body kick.
Jones closes the distance but De Costa moves to the side
and De Costa counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jones on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
De Costa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.

Karlson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hitter tries to avoid it but Karlson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hitter to the ground. Hitter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
