Michel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bresnar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bresnar stalks Michel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Michel's face. Michel staggers backwards, shaken.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Michel shoots in for a takedown but Bresnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Michel is defended easily by Bresnar.

Horrible takedown attempt by Michel or perhaps it was just good defense by Bresnar, which made it look bad.

Bresnar sends Michel crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bresnar is motioning to the referee to let Michel up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bresnar is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Michel flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Michel is out cold! Bresnar holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
