Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Didier Tsabalala (ranked 4130 p4p, 5341 weight class) and John Kingsley (ranked 539 p4p, 616 weight class). Tsabalala's entrance music is Fight Like the Devil. A fine choice. Kingsley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Razor Town Rising kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Didier Tsabalala has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Kingsley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tsabalala looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tsabalala closes the distance but Kingsley moves to the side

and Kingsley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kingsley wants to control from the top but Tsabalala keeps moving.

and Kingsley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tsabalala's guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Tsabalala decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kingsley, up you get!

Kingsley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tsabalala did well to prevent Kingsley getting side control.

Tsabalala has one foot on Kingsley's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Kingsley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tsabalala sprawls well. Tsabalala wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kingsley gets slowly back to his feet.
Tsabalala is looking to counter the offense by Kingsley and move into the clinch.
