Avalon comes to the cage accompanied by Superman - Super Junior. Mike Swanton looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon lands a slapping body shot.
Avalon misses with a hook. Swanton ducked under it nicely.

Swanton gets caught napping as Avalon dives in and scores a takedown. Swanton manages to retain guard.

Swanton working for a triangle but Avalon defends it easily.
Avalon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Swanton's head.

Swanton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Avalon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Swanton looks gassed!
Avalon advances to half guard.
Avalon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Swanton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Swanton tries to get to full guard but Avalon has control of the leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swanton is defending against the submission attempts here by Avalon.
Avalon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Avalon is pressing down on Swanton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Swanton is holding on for now.

Avalon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Avalon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Swanton is hurt! He's hurt bad - Avalon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Swanton from any more punishment! Congratulations to Avalon! Great finish!
