Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Louis Paterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paterson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ce Fait Mal - La Founine. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fernando Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira takes one to the chin there.

Paterson moves into the clinch.
Oliveira struggles to land a body shot inside as Paterson controls his hands.
Oliveira is pressed up against the ropes. Paterson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Oliveira down to the mat. Oliveira avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Oliveira has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A jab from Paterson misses.
Oliveira just misses with a punch to the body.

Paterson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oliveira can do anything to dispel that myth.
