The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovelair moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Humberto Lima has been cut.
Lima shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lovelair as he avoids it easily.
Lovelair lands a two punch combo.
Lima tries a head kick but it misses.
Lovelair scores with a three punch combo!

Lima shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lovelair but Lovelair pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lovelair moves into the clinch.
Lima seems to have recovered his senses.
Lovelair connects with a knee to the head.
Lima wants to take the fight to the mat but Lovelair manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Lovelair has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Ezekiel Lovelair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Humberto Lima.

Lovelair has Lima pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Lima is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Lovelair - that's hurt Lima badly! Oh, another knee lands and Lima is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Lima doesn't seem to be complaining.
