Monster comes to the ring accompanied by Wjeżdżają cyganie. Walker has chosen Jimi Hendrix - Hear my train a comin' as his entrance music. Popek Monster has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Walker!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster misses with a wild body shot.
Monster will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Monster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Monster on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Walker slips a jab and a cross from Monster.
Monster throws a right and a left that both miss.
Monster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker connects with a high kick.
Monster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Monster misses with a few strikes there.
Walker lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker scores with a head kick. Monster tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Monster takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Monster gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Walker.
Monster throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Walker appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Walker. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Don Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
