Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Brown (ranked 1352 p4p, 64 weight class) and Lu Hao (ranked 3614 p4p, 173 weight class). Lu Hao told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Hao bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hao is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Brown has his hands clasped together but Hao extends and breaks Brown's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hao.

Our winner, Lu Hao, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
