Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elias Al Haddad (ranked 7235 p4p, 561 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 4465 p4p, 424 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 25 - 2, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels misses with a hook
and Al Haddad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Al Haddad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jab by Daniels.
Al Haddad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daniels circles away quickly and effectively.
Daniels stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Daniels tries to clinch there but Al Haddad circles away.
Daniels scores with a jab to the body.
Al Haddad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Al Haddad blocks a head kick by Daniels.
Daniels misses with a looping left.
Al Haddad misses with a double jab.
A swing and a miss from Daniels.
A punch combination from Al Haddad misses.
Daniels let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daniels bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Daniels connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Daniels tries to clinch but Al Haddad moves out of range.

Daniels fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Al Haddad, pushing him back against the cage.
Al Haddad is trying to maintain a safe position but Daniels gets an underhook and turns Al Haddad into the cage.
Al Haddad lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Daniels throws a punch but it's blocked by Al Haddad.
Al Haddad creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Al Haddad lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Daniels misses with a hook to the ribs.
Daniels lands a shoulder strike.
Daniels misses with a short punch on the inside.
Al Haddad wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Daniels has a couple of punches blocked by Al Haddad.

Daniels tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Al Haddad's elbow.

Daniels blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Daniels tries to throw a body punch but Al Haddad avoids it by throwing Daniels back against the cage.

Al Haddad is struggling to control the position.
Daniels trying to control the position but instead, Al Haddad has worked for underhooks and has pushed Daniels into the cage.
Al Haddad is looking to control Daniels's arms but Daniels gets an underhook and turns him. Now Al Haddad has his back to the cage.
Daniels blocks an uppercut.
Daniels has a couple of punches blocked by Al Haddad.
Daniels lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniels tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Daniels misses with a body punch.
Al Haddad tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Al Haddad breaks the clinch.
Al Haddad swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniels.
Daniels swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Al Haddad is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Daniels scores with a head kick.
Daniels gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daniels avoids the body shot from Al Haddad.
It seemed like Daniels was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Daniels connects with a good right hand that stumbles Al Haddad. Al Haddad circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A decent looking cross lands there for Daniels.


Al Haddad is rocked!
Al Haddad circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Daniels. Al Haddad falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Daniels!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Daniels!
A less than humble Jack Daniels misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
