Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Davies (ranked 6707 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spas Spasov (ranked 6101 p4p, 525 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies lands a high kick!

Spasov clinches up against the cage.

Spasov wants to break free but Davies has control.

Davies pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Spasov leaves Davies with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Spasov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Wolf's Den Cardio and Sparring ($50 a week!!). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Davies wants to stand but Spasov is controlling his posture from full guard.

Davies throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spasov's waist but Spasov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davies off to one side.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well Spasov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
