Willis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hippie Sabotage - Running Miles kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitch Willis!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis misses with a few strikes there.
Willis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knight shoots in and drives through. Willis sprawls well.
Willis was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Willis misses with the combination.

Willis instigates a clinch.
Willis scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Knight pushes off an throws an elbow but Willis leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Willis is trying to break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Willis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knight looks for a takedown but Willis sprawls well.

Knight gets tackled into the cage by Willis. Willis maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice right hand lands inside from Willis.

Willis manages to break the clinch.
Knight takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Willis rushes Knight and presses him up against the cage.
Knight is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Willis pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Knight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Willis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Willis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Willis wants to sweep but no luck.
Knight is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Knight working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Knight is stalling in the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knight accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Willis wants to sweep but no luck.
Knight trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Willis has his hands on Knight's head, controlling the position.

Knight stays in close to Willis's body and controls the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Knight loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A head kick misses from Willis.
Knight seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Willis gets caught flat footed, as Knight shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Knight won't allow Willis to get back to his feet.
Knight sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Knight distracts Willis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Knight postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Knight is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Willis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Knight stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Knight fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Willis's coach down at Vinny’s Gym *PFC sponsored gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Willis's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Knight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A right-left combo lands from Willis.


It looks like Leo Knight has been cut.

Knight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knight lands in his opponent's guard.
Willis looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knight stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Willis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Willis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mitch Willis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Leo Knight's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Willis tries to bum rush Knight with a series of wild strikes but Knight uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Willis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knight.
Willis throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Knight colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Willis as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Knight is left battered and dazed whilst Willis and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch Willis!
After the big win, Mitch Willis made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Pit Bull Development and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
