Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bon Bones (ranked 2313 p4p, 299 weight class) and Robbie Moss (ranked 4892 p4p, 546 weight class). Robbie Moss told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss throws a head kick that misses

and Bones counters by clinching up.
Bones misses with a body punch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Moss manages to break the clinch.
Moss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Bones counter with a right hand.
Moss shoots in and drives through. Bones sprawls well.
It looked like Bones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Moss has his takedown stuffed
and Bones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bones throws a series of punches but Moss moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Moss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bones.
Bones misses with a straight left.
Moss uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bones.
Bon Bones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Moss fails with the takedown

and Bones moves into the clinch.
Bon Bones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Moss.
Bones lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Robbie Moss has been cut.

Moss's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bones scores with a jab.
Bones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moss wants to clinch.
Robbie Moss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Bones to counter with a crisp jab.

and Bones counters with a nice right hand that sends Moss toppling to the canvas! Moss scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bones finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bones drops Moss with a big left hand! Moss is injured, injured bad! Bones jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
