Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howland Reed!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Giou.
Giou has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Giou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Giou shoots and misses
and Reed counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reed.
Reed lands a left hand.
Giou tries to pull guard but Reed won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luka Giou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Giou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reed closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Reed grinds an elbow into Giou's temple.
Giou manages to get back to half guard.
Reed frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Reed postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Giou badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Reed around the waist but Reed pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Reed is the winner by TKO! Reed jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Howland Reed!
