Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rizzo Young (ranked 1334 p4p, 174 weight class) and Baba Booey (ranked 4029 p4p, 432 weight class). Young comes to the cage accompanied by Oh man! oh man! it’s...Rage against the machine- Know your enemy. The key to victory for Rizzo Young has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rizzo Young!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baba Booey !
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A thudding body kick lands there by Young!
Young lands a leg kick that knocks Booey off balance momentarily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Young.
Booey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Young.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Young, right into the meat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Booey has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Young pushes Booey away with a front kick.

Young feints and then cracks Booey 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Booey down.

Booey takes the fight into the clinch.

Booey gets control of Young's arms and successfully pulls guard. Booey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Young is pushing down on Booey 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Booey is fighting to maintain full guard but Young has managed to sneak the leg through.
Young wants to pass the guard but Booey is defending well.
Booey is in trouble now - Young has advanced to mount!
Young can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Booey is looking to escape.

Young has control of Booey 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Booey regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Young wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Booey wants to control but Young is having none of it.
Booey bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Young is looking for a triangle but Booey pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Young is trying to control the position but Booey postures up.
Booey postures up and lands a big shot to Young's brow.

Young looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rizzo Young dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Young connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Young cracks Booey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Booey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Young lands with a good body shot.

Booey takes the fight into the clinch.
Young fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Young.
Young's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Young throws a head punch that misses.

Booey ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Booey no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Booey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Booey is looking to sweep but instead, Young has passed into half guard.
Young is looking to advance position but Booey won't allow it.
Booey is not content to let Young control the position.

Young is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Young is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Booey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Young is trying to control. Booey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Young lands with an uppercut that bounces Booey off the cage and back into range.
Young throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
It looks like Young has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Young jabs Booey right on the nose. Booey blinks but takes it well.
Nice uppercut lands for Young. That snapped Booey 's head back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Young scores with a one two! Booey had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


Booey is rocked!
Rizzo Young is winning the standup battle so far.
Young scores with a leg kick.
Young throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Booey 's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Young lands a big right hand that sends Booey crashing to the mat! Young stays standing though and waves Booey back to his feet!
Booey is still on wobbly legs! Can Young finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Booey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Young can pounce on him.
Young is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Booey can do to turn this around?
Young thows a body kick. Booey tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Booey seems to have recovered his senses.
Booey is breathing heavily.
Young knocks out Booey with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Young before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Young picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rizzo Young!

A very excited looking Rizzo Young made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
