Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Vieira (ranked 6100 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussier Rodrigues Silva (ranked 9754 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jussier Rodrigues Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.
A thudding body kick lands there by Vieira!
Vieira shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vieira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Silva tries to clinch there but Vieira circles away.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vieira stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Vieira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vieira has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.

Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vieira is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.
