The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shake slaps away a takedown attempt from McHeartney, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McHeartney.
As McHeartney tries to get set, Shake tries to push him back and clinch up but McHeartney manages to avoid the attempt.
Shake connects with a crisp jab.
McHeartney gets a double leg takedown into Shake's guard.
Shake has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. McHeartney has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.
McHeartney has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shake uses from the top position.
