Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jan Jansson (ranked 5982 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banlovic Bantom (ranked 7602 p4p, 0 weight class). Jansson comes into the arena with PAIN - Bye / Die blaring out of the sound system. Banlovic Bantom will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bantom closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bantom stands up.

Bantom rushes Jansson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bantom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bantom moves into the clinch.
Jansson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Jansson manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Bantom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bantom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jansson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bantom counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Bantom is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jansson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bantom's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jansson is trying to keep Bantom in close.
Jansson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bantom is in close to Jansson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jansson looking for a sweep. Not yet Jansson, not yet.

Bantom gets to his feet. Jansson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jan Jansson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bantom closes the distance and clinches.
Jansson throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bantom.
Jansson stalling in the clinch but Bantom improves position.
Jansson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Bantom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jansson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jansson scores with a jab.

It looks like Banlovic Bantom has been cut.
Bantom throws a shot from downtown. Jansson moves away and avoids it.
Jansson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jansson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bantom.
Jansson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jansson throws a right hand that misses

and Bantom holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jansson lands with a right to the head.
Jansson lands a hook that snaps the head of Bantom backwards.
Bantom has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jansson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jansson stops a takedown attempt from Bantom.
Jan Jansson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Banlovic Bantom.

Jansson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jansson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bantom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jansson lands with a hook. Bantom tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bantom is rocked!
Bantom looks for a takedown but Jansson sprawls well.
Bantom is still on wobbly legs! Can Jansson finish him?
Jansson throws an overhand right that drops Bantom like a sack of potatoes! Jansson dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
