The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
De Schutters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though.
De Schutters flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
De Schutters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

De Schutters is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Schutters is trying to control but can't.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
De Schutters strikes from the bottom but Diaz uses the opportunity to move to side control.
