The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson rushes Faioanaka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Johnson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Johnson is trying to get an arm triangle but Faioanaka is defending well.
Johnson is putting a hurting on Faioanaka here, landing some big shots from side control.
Faioanaka is looking for a sweep.
Faioanaka regains half guard.
Johnson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Johnson wants to pass to mount but Faioanaka is defending the position.
Johnson blocks the strikes from Faioanaka.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Johnson connects with a nice short shot to Faioanaka's temple.

Faioanaka has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA New York. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Johnson scores with a big shot! Faioanaka's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Faioanaka! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
